How the work is made
Editorial standards
A point of view is not a license to be careless.
Evidence before certainty
Factual claims should be supported by reliable reporting or primary materials. Allegations are labeled as allegations. Charges are not convictions, and commentary is not diagnosis.
Primary sources first
When available, articles link court filings, legislation, official data, transcripts, company reports and full statements—not merely summaries of them.
Visible corrections
Material errors are corrected promptly. The article will note what changed and when. Minor spelling or formatting fixes may be made without a correction note.
Human dignity
Coverage avoids unnecessary graphic detail, respects victims and minors, and does not publish private identifying information without a clear public-interest reason.
Conflicts and commerce
Sponsorships and affiliate relationships will be disclosed clearly. Payment never buys a favorable conclusion or control over editorial coverage.
