About me
Tabs open on everything.
The product of thinking too much, common sense and figuring it all out.
I’m Cynthia: a deep thinker, observer of current events and chronic connector of dots that may—or may not—have been sitting next to each other before I arrived.
I write about whatever has my attention: politics, true crime, money, markets, wages, culture, human behavior and the little contradictions that make a bigger story stop making sense.
My mind doesn’t stay in one lane because real life doesn’t. A court case can be about culture, psychology, politics and money at the same time. A story about wages can also be a story about power. Sometimes the most useful insight comes from looking across categories instead of becoming trapped inside one.
Why write it down?
Because a post can start a thought, but it can’t always finish one. This is where I slow down, show the connections, test the common-sense version against the evidence and figure out what I actually think.
I don’t promise perfect certainty. I promise curiosity, directness and enough honesty to say when the facts complicate my first reaction.
